Your Consultation About a week before your sitting you will have an appointment with one of the team for a consultation. This will take about 10 minutes and only requires one member of the sitting. Here we will determine your particular preferences regarding the style and type of photography.
You can choose different poses and which shots will be in colour, B&W or sepia. Whatever style you choose, we can recommend the best approach and situation for the setting and advise on clothing and the use of any personal items, such as flowers or toys and props. We can offer a mixture of different styles to suit your individuality.
We will show you examples of previous clients images to help you to choose. You may also bring in any styles that you have seen in a magazine etc. We will do our best to create a similar shot. Or you can simply put forward your own ideas. Should you prefer, you can leave everything to Steve, who will choose for you. Any concerns about style, clothing or make up can be discussed here. We have a professional make up artist available whom we can book for an extra charge, preferably giving her a minimum of one weeks notice. (Please see studio policies re: cancellations.)
